World Capitals ("the App") is a reference app that displays world capitals, country flags, and educational articles. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This app does not collect, store, share, or sell any personal information.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Name, email address, or contact information
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage data, analytics, or behavioral data
- Payment or financial information
- Photos, contacts, or any device content
How the App Works
The app loads country and capital data from Google Firebase Realtime Database, which is hosted and managed by us solely to deliver app content. This is a one-way, read-only connection — no user data is sent to or stored in our database.
The only preference stored is your dark/light mode choice, which is saved locally on your device using Apple's standard storage and is never transmitted anywhere.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Firebase (by Google) to serve content. Firebase may collect minimal technical information such as network request logs as part of its standard infrastructure operation. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
No other third-party SDKs, ad networks, or analytics services are used.
Children's Privacy
This app does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. It is safe for use by all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
