Overview

Welcome to IQ Quiz, developed by Abul Kalam Sk. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the IQ Quiz mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Collect

The App may collect the following information:

• Profile Information: First name, last name, and gender preference that you voluntarily enter in the app. This is stored locally on your device only.
• App Preferences: Your selected theme, language preference, and quiz progress (stages unlocked, coin balance, question progress). Stored locally on your device.
• Usage Data: Firebase Analytics may automatically collect anonymised usage data such as app open events, session duration, and crash reports to help us improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

• To save your quiz progress and resume where you left off
• To maintain your coin balance and stage unlock status
• To remember your theme and language preferences
• To improve app performance and fix bugs using anonymised analytics

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

Data Storage

Your profile and preferences are stored locally on your device using the operating system's secure storage (UserDefaults on iOS). This data is never transmitted to our servers.

Quiz content (questions and stages) is loaded from Firebase Realtime Database hosted in the EU (europe-west1). No personal data is stored in Firebase.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — Used for loading quiz content from the Realtime Database and anonymised analytics. Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

These services may collect anonymised, non-personal technical data as described in their own privacy policies. We do not control their data practices.

Children's Privacy

IQ Quiz is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. We do not require account creation or any personal data to use the App.

If you believe a child has inadvertently provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Data Security

All communication between the App and Firebase is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS protocols. Local data stored on your device is protected by your device's built-in security features.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App
• Request information about what data is held about you
• Request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
